Apr 2006 Bahrain Kuwait Insurance Company (BKIC) has reported 2.51 million BHD (6.67 million USD) in net profits in 2005 against 1.63 million BHD (4.3 million USD) in 2004, that is, a 54% increase. The volume of gross premiums amounts to 22.4 million BHD (59.6 million USD) against 18.3 million BHD (48.6 million USD) in 2004, that is, a 22% increase. The company has adopted a triennial strategic plan with a view of expanding on the regional market, developing its current portfolio and diversifying of the range of its products.
