May 2013 In collaboration with the regulatory authorities , the Tunisian federation of insurance companies (FTUSA) has devised a five-year development plan for the 2013-2017 period. This document incorporates the latest regional and international developments such as Solvency II.
The proposed plan is designed to align local practices with international standards, improve the quality of marketed products and clarify the content of insurance contracts. New compulsory insurance covers are also expected in the program.
