Jul 2006 The Nigerian football federation has written a death and accident group insurance policy valid for three seasons with Standard Trust Assurance Company (STAC) and Perpetual Assurance Company. As official insurer, Perpetual commits to paying the sum of 500 000 NGN (3 900 USD) in case of death and 50 000 NGN (390 USD) in medical and pharmaceutical fees per claim. The transaction has been achieved via Carrier Insurance Brokers, a firm specialized in the segment.
