Within the framework of the insurance sector's privatization, the Egyptian government decided to create a financial holding involving the four state owned insurance companies: Misr Insurance, Al Chark Insurance, National Insurance and Egypt Reinsurance. This move aims at the technical and financial restructuring of the state-owned companies in view of improving their performances.
