The COMESA zone reinsurance company, which started underwriting on January 1, 1993, has reported a turnover of 26.3 million USD in 2005. Zep Re has also been granted an “AA” rating for its local acceptances and a “BBB-” one for its international acceptances by the South African Agency Global Credit Rating Co. (GCR).
