Dec 2006 The insurer Takaful Solidarity has made an agreement with Federal Insurance Company (Malaysia) in order to market a joint range of Takaful insurance products. The Malaysian company will also provide technical support to Solidarity. Federal Insurance Company is a subsidiary company of the American group Chubb.
Meanwhile, Solidarity has announced that its shareholders have proceeded to the increase of the capital from 300 USD to 500 million USD, and are planning to raise from 150 million USD to 275 million USD the company's paid up capital.
