The acquisition which was announced on 8 March 2010, shall be finalized by the end of the year. MetLife, leader of the American market, is a major player in corporate solutions. Alico owns a network unparalleled in the Gulf region, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal and the Middle East. The new group has access to the population of 60 countries.
