Jul 2013 Tunis Re is seeking a strategic partner to support its development. According to Lamia Ben Mahmoud, Tunis Re’s chairman, a specification is now being prepared.
Moreover, the company intends to increase its capital from 75 million TND (45.7 million USD) to 100 million TND (61 million USD), a move that is likely to involve a new strategic partner. The whole process is due be completed in 2014.
