Oct 2013 Standard and Poor’s (S&P) has granted reinsurer Saudi Re the «gcAA» rating with a stable outlook. This rating reflects the financial strength and a risk portfolio deemed appropriate. It also rewards diversification and the promising and competitive position of the Saudi reinsurer. The new «gc» rating is now used by S&P to assess companies in the Gulf.
