Dec 2013 Axel Theis, head of industrial risks at Allianz SE, has said that the coverage of IT risks has a bright future among manufacturers from Brazil, Eastern Europe and Asia.
The development potential of this type of coverage, on the mid-term level, is deemed promising by the group. In Europe, where the market is mature, the turnover increase in this segment is very clear. The turnover, evaluated at 150 million EUR (198 million USD) in 2012, is likely to attain 900 million EUR (1189 million USD) in 2018.
