With 20 million people covered by microinsurance, more than a fifth of its population (20.4%), Philippines is the head of the Asian countries in terms of coverage in microinsurance.
Followed in the ranking by Thailand (14.1%), India (8.9%), Bangladesh (5.1%) and Malaysia (3.6%).
