Sovereign Trust Insurance has joined the African oil and energy pool

Sovereign Trust Insurance (STI) joined the African Oil and Energy Reinsurance Pool.

This decision was ratified at the General Assembly of the African Insurance Organisation, held from 1 to 4 June 2014 in Kigali, Rwanda.

STI has integrated the management committee composed of eight African companies among which there are Compagnie Centrale de Réassurance (Algeria), Chanas Assurances (Cameroon), Misr Insurance Company (Egypt), Zep Re (Kenya), Cica Re (Togo) Tunis Re (Tunisia). This committee will manage the pool for a period of two years, from 2014 to 2016.
