Jun 2014 Zimre Holding Ltd revealed that gross premiums written during 2013 reached 76.89 million USD. This result is comparable to the previous year when the group announced 76.86 million USD. The premium share from domestic business grew from 53% in 2012 to 57% in 2013 while that of foreign markets is dominated by Malawi (21%), Mozambique (11%), and Zambia (5%). Profit is in sharp decline at 1.7 million USD or almost half as much as the one reported in 2012.
