Jul 2014 According to the latest figures published by Insurance Europe, the United Kingdom keeps the European leadership with 325.7 billion USD of collected premiums in 2013.
Germany (257.6 billion USD) cedes its 2nd rank to France which has collected 259.1 billion in the same period.
The European production, which has represented 33% of the global turnover, is ahead North America (30%). Africa, Latin America and Oceania account for only 7% of the global production (4900 billion USD), against 8% in 2012.
