Oct 2014 The reinsurer Kenya Re has invested 87.5 million KES (1 million USD) in African Trade Insurance Agency. This company was established ten years ago by African States with the support of the World Bank.
It is designed to promote trade and investment. African Trade provides guarantees to cover political and commercial risks affecting investment projects or external financing in the ten member countries.
