Munich Re and Hannover Re exposed to the last Malaysia Airlines aviation loss

Munich Re and Hannover Re have unveiled their latest estimate for the latest Malaysia Airlines claim (MH17 flight) over Ukraine in mid-July 2014.
The Bavarian reinsurer is forecasting costs between 25 and 30 million EUR (40 million USD), while Hannover Re expects to spend tens of millions of dollars, without disclosing any further details.

Munich Re seized this announcement to remind that its annual profit target of 3 billion EUR (4 billion USD) for 2014 is maintained.
