Oct 2014 Following the 22% decline of its revenues in the first half of 2014, ZB Holdings is willing to increase its reinsurance activity in Mozambique.
He would like to take advantage of the current 8.5% growth rate generated by this country. Various projects have been launched in infrastructure and real estate sector.
ZB Holdings has already invested nearly 2 million USD in its local reinsurance structure, estimating that 10 million USD are needed to generate significant activity and be influential on the market.
This investment must eventually offset the decline of its revenues and revive its declining ROE (-2%). A drastic reduction in staff from 1 200 to 600 people is on the agenda.
