Oct 2014 The Financial Stability Board (FSB) of the G20 has decided to postpone the publication of the systemic reinsurers' list to 2016.
The postponement follows criticisms of the insurance industry about the methodology used to identify these companies.
Systemic reinsurers, ie those whose bankruptcy could lead to an instability in the financial system, will be identified on the basis of a methodology revised by the International association of insurance supervisors (IAIS).
As a reminder, the publication of the list was initially planned on the occasion of the G20 in Brisbane.
