Nov 2014 The Banque Centrale Populaire (BCP) has established Attamine Chaâbi, its new life insurance subsidiary whose capital amounts to 50 million MAD (6.2 million USD).
In this project, BCP has as a partner the Mutuelle Centrale d’Assurance Marocaine, MCMA, (the central mutual of Moroccan insurance) with which it is allied to develop new products.
The new insurance company has obtained official permission but is still awaiting license from the ministry of finance.
