Jan 2015 The German reinsurer has announced a net result of 3.2 billion EUR (3.9 billion USD) against 3.3 billion EUR (4.5 billion USD) in 2013.
Despite a difficult and competitive reinsurance market, the world number one company reported a significant increase in dividends. The latters amounted to 7.75 EUR (9.42 USD) per share in 2014 against 7.25 EUR (9.98 USD) for the previous year.
According to initial estimates, the group's turnover would be around 48.8 billion EUR (59.3 billion USD) in 2014 against 51.5 billion EUR (70.9 billion USD) in 2013.
