Femi Oyetunji, managing director of Continental Re, provided further details about the "Summit for African insurance markets" to be held in April 2015 by his company.
Focused on the theme "The changes and challenges shaping the landscape of African insurance in 2015", the event will be held in South Africa where it will bring together industry leaders for fruitful discussions on the progress of this trade in the continent.
According to F. Oyetunji four main topics will be developed, namely: sustainability, leadership, legislation and the "CNN effect" (the continuous impact of news channels on the global political and economic climate).
It should be noted that, a discussion on the World Bank report concerning the promising prospects of the African macroeconomics is also planned at the summit.
