Singaporean companies have sustained a 1.5 billion USD loss as a result of cyber-attacks that caused the loss of data and disruption of business.

Insurance coverage that protects firms from hackers is available on the local market.
Marketed policies may include the cost of investigation and rectification work but few corporate executives recognize the usefulness of such protection. In Singapore, the market of cyber risks remains tight.
