Mar 2015 International General Insurance Company (IGI), which already operates in Bermuda, the United Kingdom, Jordan, Malaysia and DIFC of Dubai, obtains the CFC status "Casablanca Finance City".
The office recently opened by the chairman of the group Wasef Jabsheh in Casablanca will be managed by Youssef Belghiti Alaoui, a former underwriter at the SCR, Morocco.
The new structure will strengthen the presence of IGI in both Morocco and Africa which are the main target of the group.
Through this arrival, Morocco strengthens its status as an African development hub.
