The Tunisian insurance market accounts for a turnover of 1.53 billion TND (823.32 million USD) in 2014, up by 8.51% compared to 2013.

The program contract designed in 2014 provides for a series of measures aimed to increase insurance premiums from 10% to 12% per year.
Its launch has not been approved yet by the new government. The ratification of the roadmap should be obtained before December 2015.

Beyond the increase in premium volumes, the project aims to increase the legal and human resources made available to supervisory authorities and to further consolidate the motor class of business.
Efforts to improve road safety are also listed in these resources.
