The British mutual reinsurer Pool Reinsurance, created in 1993 will increase its retention per event which will rise from 100 million GBP (152.4 million USD) to 135 million GBP (205.7 million USD). This adjustment is intended to adapt the company's capacity to the market needs. The retention increase will take effect on 1st January 2016.
