The Lebanese life insurance market has reported a total premium volume of 290.5 USD in 2008, that is a 4.4% rise in comparison with 2007.
American Life (Alico) is in pole position with a total premium volume of 77.47 million USD and a market share of 26.7%.
The first five life companies control 73% of the market.
