Apr 2015 The Lloyd's, the specialist of insurance and reinsurance market, inaugurated on March 11 its new regional office in Dubai during a ceremony attended by the CEO, Inga Beale.
The office, located in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), is in charge of monitoring the MENA region. This expansion is part of the new strategy that the Lloyd’s presented in the "Vision 2025" plan which is designed to increase market share from emerging markets.
The Lloyd's will try to assert its capacity for innovation and its flexibility in the MENA region which is facing increasingly complex risks especially regarding renewable energy and cyber risks.
