After the good results achieved in 2015, Munich Re is targeting, for the year 2016, a profit ranging between 2.6 and 3.1 billion USD.
The German group has also announced a new share repurchase plan worth 1.1 billion EUR (1.2 billion USD), to be finalized before the date of the general meeting of 2017.
