Mar 2016 Gulf Insurance Group (GIG) achieved a net profit of 14.09 million KWD (46.9 million USD) in 2015, up by 17.41% compared to 12 million KWD (39.9 million USD) in 2014.
the group will proceed to the distribution of 40% of this amount in dividends paid to shareholders.
During 2015, A.M Best confirmed the financial strength rating of "A-" with positive outlook of GIG. The subsidiaries of Kuwait and Bahrain maintained their rating of "A-", those of Egypt and Jordan maintained their "B ++".
