Apr 2016 Hayett, the life insurance subsidiary of COMAR, the second non life insurer of the Tunisian market, achieved an excellent performance in 2015. The company's net profit went from 457 993 TND (226 537 USD) in 2014 to 1 650 668 TND (816 470 USD) in 2015, that is an increase of 360%. The technical result increased fivefold to reach 2 826 510 TND (1 398 077 USD).
Same trend for the written premiums net of cessions which increased by 25.7% in one year at 37 478 103 TND (18 537 794 USD). The incurred losses net of cessions, however, rose by 71.1% to attain 24 489 724 TND (12 113 352) in 2015 against 14 309 040 TND (7 077 680 USD) in 2014.
With 6 642 626 TND (3 285 642), the operating costs, for their part, have slightly gone up by 2.7%.
