Tunisia: COMAR, a 31% increase in the 2015 net income

Data published on April 22, 2016 by the Compagnie Méditerranéenne d'Assurances et de Réassurances (COMAR) showed a 31% growth in 2015 net profit.

This amounted to 26 million TND (12.9 million USD) compared to 19.8 million TND (9.8 million USD) achieved in 2014.

As for the company's shareholder's equity, it went from 581.2 million TND (287.5 million USD) in 2014 to 601.3 million TND (297.4 million USD) in 2015. The net non life incurred losses were lightened by 2.2% in comparison with 2014.

They stood at 92.3 million TND (45.7 million USD).

The year 2015 recorded a loss experience in slight decrease compared to the previous year: the loss ratio of 75.54% settled at 69.11% in 2015.
