May 2016 The Nigeria Liability Insurance Pool is tasked with the local underwriting of liability risks in different classes of business such as motor, workmen’s compensation, general or products third party liability and engineering. Such risks are usually declined by international reinsurers.
In order to diversify its acceptances, the pool has opened its portfolio not only to emerging risks including liability in the field of energy, aviation, transport, but also to underwriting liability policies for corporate leaders.
