May 2016 Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (ETI), parent company of the Ecobank group and Old Mutual Emerging Markets (OMEM), an entity of the Old Mutual group, have concluded a new strategic agreement.
Signed on Friday, May 20, 2016 by the CEOs of both companies, the partnership provides insurance services to Ecobank customers through a network expanded to the entire African continent.
The proposed offer includes life insurance and non life products. Previously, the two partners already signed a bancassurance agreement in 2015.
