The first five non life insurers account for over 55% of the market

Axa Senegal has confirmed its leadership over Senegalese market. The French insurer’s subsidiary is exhibiting 14.5% rising profits at 12.509 billion FCFA (20.8 million USD) in 2015. Its market share has now attained 14.6%.

The Allianz group ranks second with a premium volume of 10.200 billion FCFA (17 million USD) and a market share of 11.9%.

The third position goes to NSIA. The Pan African group is ahead of Allianz with a turnover of 10.125 billion FCFA (16.9 million USD) and a more or less equal market share.

Trailing fourth and fifth respectively in the bottom ranking are the Compagnie Prévoyance Assurances (CPA) whose turnover is set at 8.027 billion FCFA (13.4 million USD) and Saham with 7.368 billion FCFA (12.3 million USD).
