Oct 2016 Swiss Re Corporate Solutions has obtained license from Hong Kong’s regulatory authorities, authorizing Swiss Re to open a non life reinsurance subsidiary on its territory. The company is providing its services in classical classes of business such as fire, accident, third party liability along with those regarded as its specialty such as engineering, energy, marine, credit and financial risks.
The new office will also be in charge of customers in Taiwan and Macao. This establishment in Hong Kong will raise to ten the number of Swiss Re’s subsidiaries in Asia pacific region.
