LLOYD ASSURANCES, the first insurance company created in Tunisia, has proceeded to a significant increase in capital which rose from 10 to 45 million TND (4.9 to 22.2 million USD). This move is not only going to consolidate the company’s technical reserves and improve its solvency margin but it will also allow it to upgrade its structures and focus on development. It is worth noting that the management team has not waited for capita increase to upgrade its structures one by one with the acquisition of a new IT system, team reinforcement and design of new products.
Another project, equally in full development, regards the consolidation of the commercial network with new agencies. LLOYD ASSURANCES, is currently endowed with 58 exclusive general agents, 11 direct offices and 14 multi-code agents. It is also in business with 48 brokers.
By the end of 2015, premiums amounted to 77.8 million TND (38.48 million USD) compared to 73 million TND (39.28 million USD) one year before, that is, a 6.5% rise. At 1.891 million TND (935 000 USD) by the end of 2015, net profit reported an increase of 31.2% over one year.
