Oct 2016 Qatar Insurance Company (QIC) is in partnership with General Retirement and Social Insurance Authority (GRSIA) whose members shall be entitled to a 25% discount on any policy underwritten for comprehensive motor insurance.
Apart from standard covers, this scheme is also providing assistance in case of mechanical breakdown in Qatar or in several neighboring countries. Moreover, vehicle management and return to owner for technical inspection or registration are available services. Policyholders are entitled to a ride to the airport once a year and to a three-day chauffeur-driven car. QIC has extended the 25% discount to cover homeowner's, travel and yacht insurance schemes.
