Constrained to create a subsidiary in an European country in order to gain access to the EU market, Lloyd's will shortly present its members with a proposal to relocate its European business.
Five countries are listed in the short-list. A final choice should be announced no later than February 2017, that is before the application of Article 50 which will formally trigger the United Kingdom's exit from the European Union.
