The insurer Allianz has launched a new life product on the market designed for savers willing to invest in the financial markets while benefiting from protection against fluctuations. This insurance product, baptized Allianz Active4Life, is a classical unit-linked scheme which rests on units of accounts. The saver may choose between the Allianz Strategy Select 75 fund, made up of 75% of shares and 25% of bonds and the Allianz Strategy Select 50 which includes 50% of shares and 50% of bonds. The volatility of the first product is of 12% whereas that of the second is of 8%.
On each anniversary date of the contract, policyholders may underwrite an option that allows them to get protection against maximum loss of 10% to 15% according to the unit of account chosen on the opening of the contract.
