Feb 2017 Chinese insurers are innovating. Recently, they have been offering a most unusual insurance. Known as "love insurance", the latter does not work in case of a harmful event but in case of good news.
Proposed by some companies, such as China Life Insurance, this product allows the policyholder, against the payment of a lifetime premium of 299 CNY (43.5 USD), to be offered 10 000 roses that is 30 square meters of flowers on the day of his wedding with the partner whom he mentionned in the policy.
The company Answern Property & Casualty, which also markets this product, offers, for its part, underwriters of this type of contracts a heart-shaped diamond ring or a sum of money.
