The Mutuelle Agricole Marocaine d'Assurances (MAMDA) has launched a pilot project to assess agricultural claims. Drones will henceforth be used in the assessment of claims following a climatic event.
The remote-controlled devices, via a mobile console, will improve the collection of information on affected areas. The new technology will not only reduce the time required for appraisal and compensation, but will also allow estimate the cropland yield.
Another innovation, MAMDA's clients shall have access, via their smartphones, to the information collected and to customized consulting services.
