Mar 2009 The current economic situation seems to be profitable to SCOR. The French reinsurer is forecasting a 5% rise of its premiums volume for the year 2009. The company plans on reporting a 4% growth in non life reinsurance and 8% in life reinsurance. The tariff increase during the January renewals is estimated at 3.3%. SCOR relies on a combined ratio of 98% in 2009 versus 99.2% in 2008.
