Insurance professionals are expecting more mergers and acquisitions in the kingdom. Several factors encourage these movements: consolidation of insurers'financial bases, improvement of the solvency margin, development of technical expertise ...

This wave of concentration could divide by two the number of local insurance companies. Out of the currently 34 registered insurers, the market could only count 17 in the future. The entry of foreign insurers is also possible.
