The figures published by Astree Assurances at the end of 2016 showed a net profit up by 8.9% from 12.661 million TND (6.26 million USD) in 2015 to 13.787 million TND (6.02 million USD) in 2016. During the year under review, the Tunisian insurer recorded a 5.16% increase in its written premiums at 130.415 million TND (56.911 million USD).
Motor insurance is the main class of business underwritten by the company (36.5%), followed by life (21.5%) and health (20.8%).
