Jun 2017 Mergers and acquisitions transactions are planned in Europe in the second half of 2017. According to a survey conducted by Moody's with the financial managers of 18 insurers that are subject to the new Solvency II standards, 56% of the interviewed are expecting external growth transactions before the end of 2017, against 43% in 2016.
Allianz, AXA and Aviva are looking out for new growth opportunities. These companies are among the insurers who have revealed their intention to carry out acquisition transactions.
