The Democratic Republic of Congo is about to liberalize the insurance market. No fewer than 16 insurers have announced their intention to submit an application for approval to the insurance regulatory and control authority (ARCA).
The newly established institution will receive formal requests in August 2017. Licensing is scheduled for October 2017.
