Kuwait Insurance Company: results for the first nine months of 2017

Kuwait Insurance Company has reported its financial results as at September 30, 2017. The Kuwaiti insurer has posted 7.2 million KWD (23.9 million USD) in net profits in the first nine months of 2017 compared to a net loss of 737 000 KWD (2.4 million USD) in the same period of 2016.

Gross written premiums increased by more than 9%, going from 27.6 million KWD (91.7 million USD) as at September 30, 2016 up to 30.2 million KWD (100.2 million USD) twelve months later.

Shareholder’s equity amounts to 70.8 million KWD (235 million USD), compared to 56.8 million KWD (188.7 million USD) in 2016.
