C-Re Holdings, a Mauritius-based investment company, has invested 10 million USD to transform the Continental Re's representative office in Cameroon into a wholly-owned subsidiary.
This financial contribution will enable C-Re to hold 49% of the capital of the future company.
Once the operation is completed, the number of Continental Re's subsidiaries in Africa will increase to three.
The Nigerian reinsurer owns two other subsidiaries in Kenya and Botswana.
