SAA accounts for 20% of the Algerian insurance market

With a turnover of 27 billion DZD (235.66 million USD), the Société Algérienne d'Assurance (SAA) accounted for 20% of the Algerian market in 2017.

Premiums generated by all local insurance companies amounted to 138.3 billion DZD (1.21 billion USD), up by 6.7% compared to 129.56 billion DZD (1.18 billion) USD) in 2016.

This information was released by Nacer Saïs, CEO of SAA at a seminar, held recently in Béjaïa, on business risk management
