May 2018 According to recruitment firm Michael Page, the insurance sector is poised to hire more than 13 000 new employees in 2018. Recruiters favor three areas: new information technologies, risk management and conformity. Salesmen also stand among most sought profiles.
Axa has created 5 400 new posts during 2018. The mutual insurance group Covéa, on its part, is intent on hiring 2 000 staff members while 1 000 positions have opened up at Macif, 555 at Swiss Life and 342 at Cardif, a subsidiary of the banking group BNP Paribas.
